Litter and Justice
YourThurrock was invited down to John Street by the Environmental Services at Thurrock Council. This was an educational film for us. You often see rubbish in alley ways and wonder whose responsibility it is to pick it up: It isn’t the Council’s.
On this occassion, Thurrock Youth Offending Service were once again on hand to pick up the rubbish as part of their Community Payback Scheme.
Another point to make is that the young offenders (under 18) will not be the ones wearing high visibility jackets. When the scheme comes on-line, it will be the adults.
