Stabbing in Southend Road

Detectives in Grays are appealing for information on four men who broke into a flat in Southend Road, Grays around 11pm last night (Thursday, May 13) and assaulted one of the four people inside.

The 22 year old local man was taken to Basildon Hospital with a number of stab wounds to his body and legs and he received emergency treatment and is now described as stable. Police will be speaking to him as soon as he is well enough to provide a statement. No one else was injured.

The men who broke in are described as black, wearing balaclavas and police want to hear from anyone who was in the area, saw the men or has any other information that can help identify them. Contact detectives at South Ockendon on
