Ormiston Alex’s star on the rise for Tottenham

SOMETIMES WE don’t give enough praise for the raft of young footballers who ply their trade for leading football clubs around the country.
Our thoughts go to former William Edwards student and Nottingham Forest star, Chris Cohen who is out for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, former Ormiston Park Academy student, Alex Pritchard is making his way for Tottenham Hotspur.
Previously with West Ham, Alex joined the Spurs Academy full-time in June 2009 and made his debut for the Under-18s as an Under-16 player in May 2009, coming on as a substitute and scoring in a 2-0 success against Birmingham City.
On joining the Academy full-time for 2009-10, he featured 11 times for our Under-18s in his first season, starting six matches, with his full debut at that level came in the 2-0 defeat of Norwich City in March 2010.
He played another 16 times in the Premier Academy League in 2010-11, scoring six goals and also featured in the FA Youth Cup.
He appeared on the bench last week for Tottenham against PAOK Salonika in the Europa League.
