A century of Tilbury celebrated this Sunday

IT LOOKS like being a fascinating Sunday afternoon down at the Tilbury Cruise Terminal this Sunday as Tilbury celebrates its centenary.

Between 10am and 4pm, a host of events will be taken place that will celebrate, educate and illuminate the fascinating history of Tilbury Town.

Events start at 10.15 with a port tour followed by talks, displays and a whole host of activities for all the family.

There will be cream teas and refreshments.

There is a shuttle bus from Tilbury Railway Station.
