Fire at changing rooms in St Chads in Tilbury

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a changing room in Daisy Field in St Chads Road, Tilbury on Wednesday morning.

The single storey building measured approximately 4 x 10 metres.

Crews wore two sets of breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 11:28hrs.

A thermal image camera was used to check for any remaining hotspots.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

ECFRS will carry out an investigation.
