Bata group celebrate ten years preserving heritage

THE BATA reminiscence group have celebrated ten years of preserving the rich and fascinating history of the East Tilbury community.

Every few months, the group invite former employees and families to a day of reminiscence. Every tim eyou go down there, you find a new photo that triggers a whole host of questions (a hurling team!).

A different world, a different time which is why the group should be so highly praised for the work that they do.
