William Edwards collect over £800 for cancer charity

WILLIAM Edwards’s school has collected £800 pounds for the charity ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’. Mrs. Vicki Bowden from ‘Teenage Cancer Trust’ said: “It was a fantastic amount that would make a tremendous difference to young people suffering from cancer’’.
Miss Hatch and Mrs. Kingsland, who have a Year 10 pupil currently being treated for cancer in their tutor group said: “The School were driven in their fundraising by the fact that one of their own pupils is being treated for cancer.
“It has become very real to us all at William Edwards School and the pupils and staff wanted to show their support”.
