Sparks Will Fly parade comes to Thurrock

THE SPARKS WILL FLY parade lit up Thurrock on Sunday lunchtime as the olympic parade came to the borough.

The parade has been marching all through Essex as it came to collect a Glass Bead made by local artist Lata.

The parade involved dancers from Gable Hall school. It left the civic offices and paraded down to the T Fest arena.

Although the weather was not great, many people looked out from their windows to see a splash of colour as the Olympics and T Fest merged.
