Coryton workers take their protest to David Cameron

IF MR CAMERON couldn’t come to Coryton then the Coryton protestors came to him.
Whilst the prime minister gave evidence at the Royal Courts of Justice to the Leveson Inquiry, the Coryton protestors positioned themselves outside the courts and in front of the worlds media.
The millions of people who had never heard of Coryton suddenly saw the campaigners behind the Sky and BBC cameras.
One of the campaigners, Leonie Howes said: “We shouted, we hollered, we laughed and we cried!! No one could say we didn’t tried our hardest to keep the refinery running.”
Whilst a number of negotiations continue to take place, a meeting is set to take place on Monday at 7.30pm at Pitsea Leisure Centre.
