Former Thurrock FC star wins World Junior champs

THE DREAM continues for former Thurrock FC defender Adam Gemili.
This time last year, he was turning up for pre-season training at Ship Lane in Thurrock. Last night he won the gold medal for the 100 metres in the World Junior Championships in Barcleona.
Adam won in a personal best time of 10.05, three/hundredths of a second up on his previous best set last month in Germany.
