THE TURNING OF THE TURF is always a highly symbolic event and this was clearly so, when local MP, Jackie Doyle-Price came to Ormiston Park Academy to make the first insertion into the soil as the school starts to transform into a new building over the next two years.
Principal, Tess Walker was joined by Balfour Beatty, Ormiston Trust, parents, staff and students for this highly signficant event.
