Corringham put the christmas back into festival

THE CORRINGHAM Winter festival has changed its name to the Corringham Christmas Festival.

The festival came to national prominence in 2008 after it was reported that schools had to pull out as their carols were not suited to the theme of the particular evening.

Even last year, the event was spoilt after yobs vandalised the christmas tree.

But that did not stop the organisers who put on a great festival.

The event is planned for Thursday December 6th.
