Tall ships came sailing by Thurrock on way to Olympic venues

THEY made for an impressive site. Over a dozen clippers moored at the Tilbury cruise terminal. Once customers boarded, they gently made their way from Tilbury up to Greenwich, where they will be touring the olympic venues.
As temperatures topped 90 degrees, the ships sailed gently down the river watched by a large number of Thurrock residents watched from the shore.
