Petroplus: The biggest car boot sale in Thurrock

OVER 300,000 items of oil refinery spares and stocks from the Coryton site of Petroplus have been put on sale on the internet.

Items that include pumps, valves, filters, lighting from the site can be bought at the push of a button.

The website, www.go.dove.com states that the sale is “On the instructions of Messrs Stephen Oldfield and Steven Pearson of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, joint administrators of Petroplus Refining and Marketing Limited in administration.”

The oil refinery went into administration in June with hundreds of jobs in Thurrock lost.

Bidding will remain open until Thursday, August 09.
