Two Tilbury men plead guilty to theft of a rhino head

TWO TILBURY men have admitted conspiracy to burgle after a rhinoceros head was stolen from a Surrey museum.
Tony Moore and Jamie Channon, both of Tilbury pleaded guilty to two counts of the offence – one in relation to the rhino head theft from Haslemere Educational Museum on May 27 last year and the other over 13 supermarket burglaries reports Get Surrey.
Moore, 30, of Ottawa Road, was due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Monday (August 6) but failed to appear. He was brought in on Thursday instead after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Channon, 32, of Melba Gardens, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing and the pair will be sentenced together on September 7.
