Bring it on…………….
With only hours to go before the start of our Ryman League campaign, the club is full of positive vibes.
Manager Mark Stimson said: “I can’t wait I’m buzzing, its been an exciting time building this squad now we just want to get started”.
Thurrock may take a little time to adjust to the demands of the new league. This may be one for consolidation and for Stimmo to see the lay of the land.
Chairman Tommy South commented “We have a new young side supported by a fantastic Management team and we are full of optimism about the season, so why not come along and support Thurrock as we endeavour to play good exciting football”
Thurrock have not won an opening league game fixture since 2002, but manager Mark Stimson stated that it’s a long haul to the end of the season in April next year, so whilst he would love to end that record it’s important to remember that there are 41 other league games.
