Harlow Town 3 v 4 Aveley
YOU have the feeling that it is going to be a rollercoaster with Aveley this season as they came from behind to grab all three points against much-fancied Harlow.
Harlow opened the scoring when Reece Dobson stroked in the first in the seventh minute but the Millers equalised through Paul Burnett just before half time.
But they were behind again right after the re-start when Aaron Gayle scored for the Hawks from thirty yards. When Hawks veteran Danny Brown scored to make it 3-1 it looked all over for the Millermen.
Aveley quickly scored from a headed cross to get themselves back in the game when Jordan Cox scored with a header and then Cox equalised in the 80th minute.
But all three points were secured in injury time when sub Junior Dadson capitalised on a deflection to make it 4-3 to Aveley.
There was still more drama to come though, as first an Aveley sub was sent off for antagonising the home crowd with his reaction to their fourth goal, and then a goal-mouth scramble with a clearance off the line to deny Harlow the late equaliser.
