GCSE Results 2012: Ockendon Maths results sum up success

OCKENDON ACADEMY was celebrating their tremendous success after gaining the best ever set of Maths results ever.
The school achieved 64% at A* to C in a particularly difficult subject that is always a key calling card for future employers.
The success shows why the school is building a Studio School and has put employability at the centre of its educational ethos.
The school also attained a remarkable 10 A* in Religious Studies!
Naturally, Ockendon Academy like Grays School and Ormiston Park are remaining tight lipped on the mark for English until they have had them verified.
YT spoke to deputy head, Alison Matthews about the results.
