Harris Academy opens new sixth form centre

THE FOUNDER of the Harris Federation, Lord Harris of Peckham opened the new sixth form centre at the Harris Academy in Chafford Hundred on Friday afternoon.

The centre is the culmination of the work of executive principal, Chris Tomlinson and principal Nicola Graham in realising a dream of producing a world class sixth form centre in the heart of their school.

The school came top of the educational leagues in Thurrock for the third year running and is second in the Harris Federation league.

Lord Harris, joined by the chief exec of the Harris Federation, Sir Daniel Moynihan, extolled the virtues of the school and gave the students a hint of what is to come.
