Mystery surrounds “ram-raid” on Corringham shop

MYSTERY surrounds a reported “ram-raid” on a shop in Corringham Town Centre.

Essex Police were called to Shaders in St Johns Way, Corringham at just after mid-night on Monday September 17th after a report that a car had ram-raided the shop.

On attending at the location, the police could find no trace of any vehicle. A check on CCTV did not show any evidence of a vehicle in collision with the shop.

However, the glass frontage behind the shutters at the shop was completely shattered.

Enquiries are continuing.
