UNDER-FIRE housing repairs organisation, Morrison has committed to working with Thurrock Council for the reminder of its contract.

Last week, portfolio holder for Housing, Cll Val Morris-Cook announced that the council would not be taking up the option of extending the contract beyond 2015.

    Oh what a shame.

Words, mean so little “we remain committed”, when was that then, work for the people of Thurrock and not just being content with feeding the coffers of your shareholders.

When you make 2-4 visits for each job, is that a loophole in the contract and do you get paid for the revisits?
