“All Go!” for Hammers play off date

THE Lakeside Hammers are ready for action tonight despite Sunday rain continuing through into Monday morning. With a dry, sunny and windy forecast for the rest of the day the Arena Essex Raceway circuit has been prepared accordingly.

The Hammers Co Promoter Jon Cook commented: “Our trackman, Gerald, was relieved we came through yesterday’s World Banger Final, which was held at the Raceway, unscathed and he has been able to fully prepare the track to see off the worse of the rain. We have great drying weather on its way, the giant television screen is in place, riders are flying in and we are ready for a great night’s entertainment.”

Fans are reminded that reduced admission applies to those paying on the night or online at £15 for adults, £12 for all concessions and £1 for kids. In addition Hammers Season Ticket holders are not being charged for this meeting as their tickets will be valid.
