Lifestyle Solutions team pass Firebreak Course with flying colours

THE THURROCK LIFESTYLE Solutions team passed the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service Firebreak course with flying colours.

The week long course at the Corringham Fire station is a highly demanding course in which the team have to learn a whole host of key skills relating to fire safety.

The course, part-funded by the Thurrock Community Safety Partnership culminated in a passing out demonstration in front of invited guests where the team, under extreme pressure, performed a number of drills and exercises including rescuing a “damsel in distress” from a tall building.

Each member of the team was awarded with a certificate by the district fire officer.
