Sports ambassador Liz reflects on olympic legacy

WITH THURROCK Council pledging to build an Olympic legacy, YT recently spoke to Liz Hosford. Wonder-woman Liz from Grays has won medal after medal from the British Transplant Games and has competed around the globe at the World Transplant Games.

It almost goes without saying that Liz was involved in the unforgettable summer of sport as an ambassador for Suriname at the paralympics.

We spoke to Liz about her achievements and what she believes the word ‘legacy” means.
