Cindy M

IT was definitely a case of lessons learned for Thurrock Writers’ Circle members as speaker, local author Cindy L. Barber shared with them nineteen years of trials and tribulations: Getting from notepad to first published novel.

The result? Fantasy novel, Keeper of the Keystone has been well received with five star reviews on Kindle Books.

Member Danielle said: “It’s been an amazing journey for Cindy and we are wiser for hearing of her experience along with the many useful tips and advice imparted. Big screen watch out!”

Spurred on, the draft of Cindy’s follow-up novel Key to Dragon Falls took only eight months to produce and Cindy, who teaches History at Ormiston Academy, is in the process of getting it ready for publication by 31st October.
