AVCF Christmas Market – Details 2017.
Aveley Village Community Forum (AVCF) is holding its annual Christmas Market in the High Street (from Ship Lane to Mill Road) on Sunday 10th December 2017, from 12.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
There are currently just under 40 stalls booked; with a variety of items on offer, from traditional festive fayre, toys and everyday offerings, to seasonal specials.
The annual Christmas Lights will be switched on at 4.00 p.m. by one of Aveley’s Councillors (Tim Aker – whose Foundation is paying for the lights this year).
At the same time; the Christmas tree lights will be switched on. This year, the tree has been kindly donated by Aveley Football Club.
Santa’s Grotto will be open for much of the time; with a visit to see Santa, put in requests and receive a small gift, on offer to children visiting the market.
Whether an Aveley resident or a visitor; a warm welcome is offered, with a chance to meet old friends, make new ones, enjoy the atmosphere and get a few presents!
