Thurrock Adult Community College offer exciting daytime courses

THURROCK Adult Community College is offering three exciting new daytime courses for adults with a learning difficulty and/or disability that can improve wellbeing, social interaction and confidence. Spaces available on Music, drama and work skills courses – learn in a calm and supportive environment at this accessible college in Grays.

Music is unbeatable for encouraging communication, teamwork, confidence, listening and self-expression. TACC’s Singing for Fun is an active class that will have you working as a group from the moment the course starts on Monday 25 February. No experience necessary – this is singing for pleasure and great for wellbeing!

Short 3 week work skills courses are tailored with the student in mind – learn and practise techniques that you can use in a workplace, or to find work, whether that be a paid job or voluntary role. Work: Interview Skills starts Wednesday 13 March.

Explore how to communicate with people more effectively, become more confident and relieve stress and tension through creative expression on the SEN Drama Skills for Fun and Confidence 6 week course starting 1st March. Story and drama are all around us, a part of life that is almost unavoidable. Drama allows us to play out stories and scenarios, be this through witnessing or performing, giving us an opportunity to express ourselves and the world around us. Call 01375 372476 to enrol.
