THIS part of the Grays Lives Project concentrates what a host of community and voluntary organisations are doing at the Beehive in Grays.

We spoke to Sally Wildman from DIAL South Essex

DIAL – Disability information and advice line

DIAL offers a confidential, disability information, advice and advocacy service to people with any type of disability offering a variety of help on any subject. DIAL’s service is unique by using disabled staff and volunteers.

Contact DIAL for help with benefits, equipment, leisure, mobility, financial issues, etc.

DIAL operate outreach desks, home visiting, appeals and casework. DIAL help clients with income maximisation, benefit applications and financial issues to improve their quality of life.
