ADULT learners at Thurrock Adult Community College (TACC) start to sit their GCSE exams from 21 May, after studying part-time in the daytime or evenings on free one-year courses to achieve their individual personal goals. With a consistent track record in supporting adults to return to learning for more than 40 years, Thurrock Adult Community College has vast experience in the lifelong learning sector and runs an extensive programme of free English and maths courses, all year round for all levels.

Last year, TACC learners achieved a magnificent 100% success rate in both English and maths GCSEs, a testimony to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff.

Whether you have been out of education for a while or are looking to change careers, it is never too late to start learning – TACC is offering short, fast-track free pre-GCSE courses in July at their college in Richmond Road, Grays along with English and Maths courses for beginners and Level 1. They are also running a wide range of qualifications (including Bookkeeping, IT, Childcare, Dyslexia and Learning Support Assistant courses) that will be free for learners on some unemployment benefits, or those on a low income plus there is limited availability on free confidence-boosting course, “Good To Be Me”. Give TACC a call on freephone 0800 783 7733 for more information or to book your free skills check, which will ensure you are on the right course to achieve and succeed.
