IT IS still not too late to join this year’s popular summer reading challenge at your local library.
If you have been on holiday or are looking for something to do during the summer break, now is the time.
The Story Lab Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at school children and is running in all of Thurrock Council’s libraries. It is free to join.
Just read six books and share what you thought of them to the friendly staff over the next four weeks and win your own medal and certificate for being a great reader.
For each book read you also receive three Mungler trading cards – collect all 21 and play the game with your friends.
