THE ADMINISTRATORS for Petroplus at Coryton have given hope to the Pegasus Club in Corringham that they may have a future.

The popular sports and social club in Herd Lane is concerned that they may also be sold off.

However, Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC) have issued a statement that is a definite silver lining.

A spokesperson for PWC said: “The administrators are proposing that the Pegasus Club continues to occupy the property on a rent-free basis until Autumn 2013 to give it sufficient time to find a longer term solution.

“These arrangements are due to be formalised shortly.”

A spokesperson for the club said: “The Pegasus Committee is discussing PWC’s generous offer of an extended lease until November 2013.”
