THE BATTLE of the Bands hots up at the weekend with the first semi-final.
The leg takes place at Burtons on Grays High Street.
Among the semi-finalists are: Halfway to Nothing, Besidemyself, Chay Appleyard, Bow Street Runners and Dead Baby Birds.
