A MAJOR CAREERS fair is set to come to Thurrock next month.
Opportunity Thurrock will be held at the Civic Hall, Blackshots on October 3rd.
The day session will be for the schools and colleges whilst the evening session for the general public.
This is the first borough wide Careers and Further Education event, offering businesses, schools and learning providers the opportunity to provide young people and adults with the information, advice and guidance needed to make their career choices.
The event will engage and inspire residents by showcasing the breadth of career opportunities available in Thurrock; highlighting the skills needed in business and routes to achieving employment.
Opportunity Thurrock is produced in partnership between schools and colleges. Businesses have the opportunity to focus its engagement resource on one flagship career event with over 1500 pupils guaranteed to attend.
