THE second annual Thurrock International Film Festival (TIFF) has been announced by the festival organisers.

The festival will run from the 23rd to the 28th September 2013 and will include feature film screenings, talks, workshops and a short film competition.

TIFF, is a week long programme of film and cinema related activities that anyone can be involved in.

Filmmakers from around the world flocked to Thurrock to showcase their films and attend the awards ceremony in June.

Audiences were also treated to screenings of classic films like Indiana Jones And The Last Crusage and Singin’ In The Rain, as well as an evening with the legendary film critic Barry Norman.

Now the focus is on planning and organising the next festival. Co-founders Natalie Williams and Benjamin Scarsbrook are already hard at work securing feature films and special guest speakers for next year’s event. Details of film submission deadlines will be available on the festivals website in the coming weeks.
