DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a burglary in Grays.
The break-in happened when thieves attempted to force their way into a flat on Palmers Drive between 5pm Thursday, October 11 and 10am Saturday, October 14 through a conservatory window, but failed.
Investigating Officer, Dc Kerry McCarthy, said: “We believe the burglars climbed over a fence to get into the property. This fence has anti-climb paint which will smear hands or clothes. Therefore, we’re keen to hear from those people who recall seeing anyone with dark paint on them which may have been suspicious.”
A forensic examination of the flat was carried out as were house-to-house enquiries.
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Grays police station on 101.
