TWO petitions handed to Thurrock Council on Wednesday night threw a light on a number of road safety issues in the borough.
Belhus councillor, Charlie Curtis handed a petition that asked for a crossing in South Road, South Ockendon , near to Buckles Lane.
Cllr Curtis said: “I use that road every day and know how dangerous it can be. The schools will agree with me as well as the Traveller services.”
Blackshots councillor, Joy Redsell submitted a petition from residents regarding the No 22 bus service.
Cllr Redsell said: “Residents and car owners are concerned that cars are being damaged by the bus.”
