Carolyne House raise hundreds with sponsored event in community

RESIDENTS at Carolyne House residential home in Chadwell-St-Mary braved the weather on Sunday 27th October when they undertook a sponsored walk/push to raise funds. Staff at the home, along with resident’s families and volunteers, helped the residents in their quest on the walk around Chadwell-St-Mary, and raised over £250 for the Resident’s Amenities Fund, which is used to subsidise activities within the home.

Mayor opens new cafe at Carolyne House

THE mayor of Thurrock opened a new cafe and extension to Carolyne House care home in Chadwell St Mary.
The home is one of four operated by Runwood Homes under the Kathryn homes banner and is well known for its work in the community.

LEATHERLAND Lodge Kim Currie has won the award for Manager of the Year for Runwood Homes. The award is no surprise to Kim’s staff and residents as she has run a warm, friendly and happy care home at South Ockendon for a number of years.

LEATHERLAND Lodge in South Ockendon raised £103 for Children in Need this week. The care home raises money for a host of charities so it was no surprise that the staff and residents dug deep for the BBC charity.
