THE walls of a corridor at Basildon Hospital have been brightened with new pieces of art, thanks to the creative skills of members of the Brentwood Art Society.
The art society donated 22 items, including watercolours and prints.
Anna Hughes, Brentwood Art Society Chairperson, said: “Our members enjoy spending their free time producing pieces of artwork, each of which can take several hours to complete. We are pleased that they are on display for others to see and enjoy.”
Simon Miles, Estates Manager, said: “Having paintings and other pieces of art around the hospital helps create a welcoming environment that improves the experience for our patients and visitors, and provides a pleasant working area for staff.”
