Easter treats at Basildon hospital

PATIENTS on the older people wards at Basildon Hospital enjoyed a hot cross bun with their mid-morning cup of tea, delivered by staff from local ASDA stores.

Jo Fear, Volunteer Coordinator at Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals, said: “We appreciate the support that ASDA give us throughout the year. It is kind of them to think of our patients who need to be in hospital over the Easter holiday.”
