CHAFFORD Hundred enjoyed its first Chafford Dog Day held at the Chafford Gorges Nature Park.
The event began with a one hour walk to warm up the pooches, organised by the ZeroPooChafford campaigners.
The Thurrock Dog Warden offering personalised dog name tags, Thurrock Council enforcement officers were to hand to give advice.
The Dogs Trust were there for micro-chipping (35 dogs chipped, 77 Neutering Vouchers and 63 Health check Vouchers given out for free).
Pampered Paws carried out free nail clipping. Bella Paws put dogs through an agility training assault course. There was a dog competition judged by Essex Wildlife Andrew Sidders, Bella Paws, Tina Barry, local councillor Tunde Ojetola (70 entries across the various
ZeroPooChafford collecting feedback on optimal poo bin locations in the Chafford area.
