A total of 22 local businesses and organisations were honoured for their support for the Friends of Hardie Park in Stanford-le-Hope.
The evening took place at the Old Regent Ballroom in Stanford-le-Hope and saw the hard working community group say thank you to those who have helped from financial donations, to installation of flooring, blinds and lights in their new cafe building.
And even on the night, which was supposed to be about giving, they received a surprise from Nustar Terminals who made a donation of £1000.
Friends of Hardie Park founder, Rob Groves said: "We had a brilliant night saying thank you to all of the local businesses and organisations that have supported us to date.
"The total value of the donations is well over £50,000 and so it was just a small thing for us to acknowledge these generous people."
