SEEMINGLY insurmountable inflatable obstacles were scaled by this gang of intrepid fundraisers to raise more than £500 for the Polly Parrot Appeal.
The 5K inflatable fun run was held at Chelmsford race course and involved giant slides, tunnels and the ‘plummet’ an almost vertical high drop slide.
The funds raised will go towards the Polly Parrot Appeal at Basildon University Hospital which raises money to enhance the environment for children’s services.
Helen Mattock, capital and technical accountant, said: “They all did amazingly well – especially Jeanette and Liz who faced their fear of heights and did a superb job. I’m so proud of them all.”
