ESSEX Police are no longer looking for Reece Mashiter in connection with an allegation of rape, reported to have taken place in Grays in October 2017.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested and interviewed in connection with the allegation.

Mashiter was also wanted under a court warrant for breaching a suspended sentence.

He will appear before Chelmsford Crown Court today, Friday, June 1, in relation to this offence.
