THE THURROCK-BASED bus company Ensign, together with shops and children from the community, are showing their thanks to NHS staff at Basildon and Thurrock Hospital.
As part of the ‘Eggs for Heroes’ appeal, one of the company’s double-decker buses will be at the hospital this evening (Thursday April 9th). It will have lots of rainbow/ thank you drawings on it sent in from children in the community as well as a large amount of Easter Eggs, donated from local shops, for the NHS staff at the hospital.
There is still time to send in your own drawings/ posters by emailing customerservices@ensignbus.com by the deadline, which is around 3pm today (Thursday 9th April). They are looking for as many as possible to be sent to them. The poster must include the artist’s Name, Age & Location.
