FOLLOWING on from their ‘Eggs for Heroes’ appeal earlier in the month, Thurrock-based bus company have launched another appeal for Basildon hospital staff.
As part of the ‘Items for Heroes’ appeal, Ensignbus are asking for children (and adults) to send in drawings/ posters of emergency services or dream holidays.
The drawings and posters will decorate one of the company’s buses, which will arrive at Basildon hospital on Thursday evening (23 April).
Please email your drawings to Ensignbus at customerservices@ensignbus.com before 3pm on Thursday, 23rd April.
Ensignbus, on their Facebook page ‘EnsignbusCo’, said regarding the drawings/ posters: “Please note that photos need to be ‘square on’ shots and not taken at a distance.
“Also it would be great to have artists name, age & location on the bottom of the drawing – thank you.”
Ensignbus are also asking businesses in the area to donate (see image below).
They posted the following message on their facebook page (21 April): “C’mon folks, help us out here! We urgently need some break time and PPE supplies to give to Basildon Hospital on Thursday. If you are a business in Thurrock or near Basildon, please DM us if you can help – thank you so much”
