PLEASE don’t forget the deadline to send in drawings/ posters for Thurrock-based bus company Ensignbus’ ‘Items for Heroes’ appeal for Basildon Hospital staff is 3pm this afternoon (23 April).
Following the hugely successful ‘Eggs for Heroes appeal’, Ensignbus have launched another appeal.
One of their buses will be arriving at the hospital this evening.
They are looking for drawings of the following:
• Your favourite emergency service/ key worker vehicle (with message)
• A favourite/ dream holiday
Please email your drawings to us at customerservices@ensignbus.com before 3pm on Thursday, 23rd April
(PLEASE NOTE that photos need to be ‘square on’ shots and not taken at a distance).
Ensignbus also say it would be great to have artists name, age & location on the bottom of the drawing if possible.)
The bus will contain a large amount of break time supplies (tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate etc.) plus some PPE supplies for amazing NHS staff at the hospital.
Ensignbus also posted the following message on their Facebook page ‘EnsignBusCo’ on Tuesday (21 April):
“C’mon folks, help us out here! We urgently need some break time and PPE supplies to give to Basildon Hospital on Thursday. If you are a business in Thurrock or near Basildon, please DM us if you can help – thank you so much.”
Be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page this evening as the bus arrives at the hospital.
