Thurrock applaud frontline workers in Clap for Carers

THURROCK once again came together last night (23 April) to ‘Clap for Carers’.

Many in the community took the opportunity to applaud the work the staff on the frontline do in this current pandemic.

One such example was at Basildon Hospital, so severely hit by the coronavirus, where emergency services were also joined by Thurrock bus company Ensign, as one of their buses arrived at the hospital as part of the ‘Items for Heroes’ appeal.

Watch the video below to see everyone come together and applaud:

It is moving at these times for the emergency services to come together like this, and many around Thurrock expressed their gratitude for the hard work they do in these unprecedented times.

Workers at Port of Tilbury also paid a stunning tribute to the NHS.

The video was posted by ‘Darren Lee Bond’ on Facebook with the caption ‘Thank you NHS from on board Far Eastern ply ship in port of tilbury docks’.
