AN Amazon wishlist has been set up for donations to hospitals and care homes in the area on a Facebook page.
On the Facebook page ‘Supplies for NHS Hospital staff Basildon & Thurrock’, Janine Thwaites shared the link to the page she created along with the following message: “Hi everyone I’ve created a wish list on amazon for donations for our hospitals and care homes.
“If anyone could help please us check out my list, toiletries are urgently needed. Every little helps!
“A one off donation is more than no donation. Please all get involved if you can.”
The wishlist can be found by clicking here.
People can use the wishlist to purchase items for the frontline workers at hospitals and care homes in the area, making donations of specific items far more straightforward.

This afternoon (Wednesday 6 May), in the Facebook group, Faye Tanning posted this message along with the accompanying images:
“Thanks again Sarah Haslett for another bake off, delivered to Orsett Hospital today physiotherapy and hematology.”
