M25 Essex – Three lanes closed and queueing traffic on M25 clockwise at J31 A1306 Arterial Road West Thurrock, because of a vehicle fire and recovery work. Congestion to before J30, Lakeside.
Incident: 1045 hrs
M25 Essex – M25 blocked and stationary traffic clockwise at J31 A1306 Arterial Road West Thurrock, because of a vehicle fire.
Having been stuck in this mess for about 2 hrs this morning I was amazed not to have seen one police and/or traffic officer controlling the situation.
If on;y they were to poisition themselves on the roundabouts surrounding the Crossing then maybe this would stop other vehicles from blocking the choke points which only leads to more delays!
