For the second time in six weeks, Grays Town Centre was cordened off to due a suspect package.
At 7pm last night, a suspicious item was found in a phone box near to Grays railway station.
A hundred metre area was cordoned off and the Bomb Squad was alerted and attended.
By 8.40pm the Bomb Squad had confirmed that the package was not suspicious but was a genuine attachment to the phone box.
